ExperienceI am a physics professor with over twenty-five years of college and university teaching experience. I have predominately taught algebra based, and calculus based physics classes. These types of classes are typically titled "College Physics", "General Physics", "Engineering Physics", or "Physics for Science and Engineering".
I have taught physics classes at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Johnson County Community College, Longview College, Avila University, Rockhurst University, and the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.
Some of the texts that I have used are Cutnell & Johnson, Halliday & Resnick, Serway, and Wilson.
I have also taught college math classes.
I also do physics reviews for professional school admittance tests. These tests are often required for scientific, medical, or engineering related fields of study.
I have tutored both high school and college students.
I have times available weekdays and weekends.
Most students usually prefer to meet at a campus or public library.
Tutoring sessions must be a minimum of one hour, but can usually last as long as you would like.
I charge only for the time spent tutoring, never for gas, or travel time.
