I was a teacher's assistant at Park Hill High School in Kansas City. I held this position for nine years. Much of my tutoring experience was helping teach students life skills, and how to function in society. I helped tutor students with learning challenges, various genetic abnormalities, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and sight loss. I received my BS degree from the University of Maine at Farmington. I received an MS degree from Northwest Missouri State University. My major was Education, and my concentration was in Reading. I also possess an alternative certificate option in Social Sciences that allows me to tutor grades 5-12.Subjects I can tutor include World History, US History, Government, Geography, Religious Studies, and Math grades 1-5. My interests include swimming, taking road trips, visiting museums, and going to the movies.
